Personal

AI-Assisted Website & CMS Editor

A system that lets a non-technical person change a React website and its content through an AI assistant, without giving the AI unrestricted access to the host.

01

What's in it

  • A React front end with Strapi as the CMS.
  • An AI-assisted editing interface.
  • Git versioning, so every change can be undone.
  • Automatic CMS rebuilds when the content schema changes.
  • Playwright tooling and a Strapi MCP integration for the agent.
  • A hardened Docker container with restricted permissions, so a bad agent action has a small blast radius.

02

The hard part

The interesting problem is controlled autonomy: giving an agent enough access to make real changes, while making sure it can't damage the host or make an edit that can't be reversed. Version control handles the second; the locked-down container handles the first.
